Braille Institute


One of the more gratifying and enjoyable speaking appearances was at the Braille Institute in Los Angeles, for a "Celebrate Reading" event that drew an audience of more than 300. The Library is part of a national network that provides books, magazines and other brailled and recorded materials for loan to more than 30,000 blind, visually impaired, physically handicapped and reading disabled patrons in Southern California.
